General information about the hotel

When can I check in and by what time do I have to check out?

Check-in is available from 14:00; check-out by 11:00. Just let us know if you will be arriving earlier, or would like to leave later.

Are wellness offers available?

Yes, MarliSpa on the 3rd floor provides you with pleasure-packed wellness moments, and plenty of connection to nature. Dive into the heated Infinity pool, bolster your immune system in the saunas, in the steam bath or on the infrared loungers, and enjoy some tranquillity in one of the two relaxation rooms. Massages and treatments are also available to book as add-ons. In summer our Juli Garden, with its outdoor pool and swimming pond, provides plenty of space for you to relax and unwind.

What is the situation with parking?

As a guest of the Hotel Marten you have the option of parking right at the hotel. Guests staying in our suites can park in our underground garage free of charge.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, well-trained dogs are welcome here, for a fee of 35.00 € per dog and night. Please let us know in advance if you will be bringing your dog with you, since not all of our rooms are suitable for a holiday stay with a dog.

Food and drink

Is breakfast included in the price?

Yes, breakfast is always included. You can carry over the value of our inclusive breakfast in the hotel to BEI ANNA coffee house and enjoy an à la carte breakfast there.

Is an evening meal served in the hotel?

Our cuisine is all about flexibility and pleasure. You can choose when, where and what you would like to enjoy when it comes to your evening meal. Just let us know and we will book our Marten cuisine for you to enjoy in the evening. Choose from: 

  • Evening meal: Compile the menu of your choice and go with your ‘gut instinct’. Whether you are ravenous, or just a bit peckish – there is something for everyone here.
  • Indulgence BEI ANNA: Delicious sweet and savoury treats are available at practically any time in BEI ANNA coffee house. On request you can even enjoy an à la carte breakfast there.
  • Meals to share in the lobby: Dishes specifically designed for a convivial get-together, so you can enjoy dining together in a cosy atmosphere.

What services are inclusive in the Hotel Marten?

As a guest staying in the Hotel Marten numerous inclusive services are waiting for you, e.g. a welcome cocktail, daily buffet breakfast, access to MarliSpa with Infinity pool and sauna, as well as free parking. More information can be found on our ‘Inclusive services’ page.

Are discounts available for children?

Yes, we offer discounts for children, both on the room price and on food. The exact discount available depends on the age of the child, and we are happy to work out an individual offer for you.

What are the cancellation terms in the Hotel Marten?

Our cancellation terms are adapted to suit the season. Austrian Hotel Contract Terms apply. Saalfelden is the court of jurisdiction.

WINTER CANCELLATION TERMS

  • Up to 4 weeks before arrival no cancellation fee is charged.
  • Less than 4 weeks to arrival, we charge a cancellation fee of 50 % of the total price.
  • Less than 2 weeks to arrival, we charge a cancellation fee of 90 % of the total price.
  • In the event of ‘no-show’, the full amount will be charged.

SUMMER CANCELLATION TERMS

  • Free reservation cancellation is available up to 2 weeks before arrival.
  • For cancellations made less than 2 weeks before arrival we charge an ‘empty bed’ fee for the booked stay. This ‘empty bed’ fee is 90 % of the room price.

Summer and winter holiday

Is the Joker Card included and what does it include?

During the summer months the Joker Card is included. It provides you with free access to many attractions in the region and also provides free use of public transport within Pinzgau.

Can I purchase ski passes directly in the hotel?

Yes, to avoid queuing at the pay desks we offer you a ski pass service right at Reception. Just drop by, or tell us in advance what you would like.

Is the option available to store my sports equipment?

Yes, we have a ski- and bike room which has heated lockers so your equipment can be stored securely and will stay dry. There are also charging stations for E-Bikes.

When I stay with you, am I right at the ski piste?

In winter there are two gondolas nearby, all you have to do is decide whether you want to tackle the north circuit, or the south circuit. Will you take the Hochalmbahn or the Zwölfer Nordbahn? Both lift stations are very close by and easy to get to on skis, by snowboard and even on foot.

Where can I hire ski equipment?

Hubsis sports shop is right at the Zwölfer-Nordbahn. You can get everything you need for a relaxing winter holiday here.

Can I book a ski service with you?

Booking a quick or intensive ski service is straightforward here. Just leave your equipment into the hotel by 17:00 in the evening for a service and next morning your skis will be freshly waxed and ready to use again.

  • Quick service: Skis will be waxed and edges smoothed.
  • Intensive service: Skis will be waxed and edges smoothed. More extensive scores and chips will be repaired.
How do I find a ski course that is right for me?

There is a wide range of ski courses for all ages available in Hinterglemm, privately or as part of a group. We are happy to advise you about what will suit you best.
